WEST PALM BEACH — Vanilla Ice is slamming ALS in #The561.
The reality TV show star hosted a special event at his home in Lake Worth.
He is joining the social media campaign called SLAM ALS Ice. His grandfather died of the disease.
Ice slammed a sculpture of the letters ALS with a sledgehammer.
The campaign, which is building off the success of the Ice Bucket Challenge, raises funds, awareness and hope for those living with the disease.
He’s joining fellow SLAMbassadors like Miss Florida Teen 2016 Madison Silver and her mother, Deborah. 100 percent of the money raised goes to ALS research.
