A local group is raising money for underprivileged youth in our community and they’re doing it the fun way.
Through the Game of Golf, Inc. is holding a scholarship tournament at the Madison Green Country Club on Saturday. A shotgun start tees off at 8 a.m. A shopping spree, cash, and tickets to amusement venues are on the line.
The non-profit group’s mission is to empower, encourage, and support needy children across Florida.
Through the Game of Golf started in February 2018, and had its first scholarship tournament in August 2018. There was close to 100 golfers and 5 graduating seniors received a $500 scholarship from Through the Game of Golf. This year, Through the Game of Golf is expecting over 130 golfers and will be presenting nine high school graduates with a $500 scholarship.
