There are now three options for the COVID-19 vaccine in Florida.
But even if you get a vaccine, doctors say it’s important to get tested.
“That’s certainly possible you can still get sick, said Dr. Kitonga Kiminyo. “However, it’s important to know your status and more importantly to get vaccinated. These are two things that we need especially in communities of color to identify people who are increased risk of ending up in the hospital.”
The T. Leroy Jefferson Medical Society is hosting a free rapid COVID-19 testing event in Belle Glade.
