The best BBQ in town is at it again, this time in Miami feeding players with the University of Michigan.
The team is preparing to face off against Florida State this coming Friday in the Capital One Orange Bowl.
Coach Jim Harbaugh contacted McCray to give the players a special treat. Last year McCray went to Michigan to provide a special BBQ for the “Sound Mind, Sound Body Football Academy.” While there, Derrick McCray met coach Harbaugh who loved his BBQ. McCray said Harbaugh told him, “these are the best ribs I’ve ever had.”
Anthony Carter will also join Derrick McCray at Tuesday’s event. Anthony “AC” Carter, a 3-time All American, played wide receiver for Michigan from 1979 to 1982. He’s a member of the College Football Hall of Fame.
